 Project metrics are of four 
 kinds: 1) trailing indicators that reveal where we are&nbsp\;today\, 2) le
 ading indicators that extrapolate into the future in an attempt to tell us
  where we will end up\, 3) Early Warning Signs (EWS) that provide a forewa
 rning of impending project challenges or failure\, and 4) delivered busine
 ss value.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Traditional project management methodologies emphas
 ize trailing indicators (such as actual cost\, schedule variance\, cost va
 riance\, utilization rate\, and others) and leading indicators (such as Ea
 rned Value and Planned Value).&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Unfortunately\, numerous studi
 es reveal that traditional project management often fails to deliver expec
 ted business value.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;It is apparent we are not measuring the r
 ight things.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;In this presentation we will explain why the key
  to project success is tracking the Early Warning Signs of project disfunc
 tion and delivered business value\, how to monitor them continuously and h
 ow to leverage strategic project intelligence to implement a systemic appr
