  is a holistic\, natural discussion method that provides people with a str
 ucture for conducting a focused conversation. This powerful\, yet simplist
 ic four-step method creates forward movement towards a point of decision. 
 Lead effective\, focused conversations with teams that produce intelligent
 \, meaningful decisions. ORID is a means of escaping the quagmire of rambl
 ing\, unproductive conversations and meetings. The conversation is led by 
 a discussion leader who takes the group through a natural series of questi
 ons that leads to decision-making. Through this discussion method\, partic
 ipants listen to each other's perceptions\, gain a broader and deeper unde
 rstanding of a common experience\, explore implications and develop a plan
  to move forward.In this session we will identify the steps of the ORID me
 thod\, identify effective questions to ask when using each of the ORID ste
 ps\, and apply the ORID method to a variety business and personal conversa
 tions.
