Through lecture\, engaging conversations\, story-te lling and group activities\, participants gain an introspection of EI conc epts by developing their self-awareness and social-awareness. Part 1 – Foundational Dimensions of Constructive Communications (2.0 hour duration ) Discover how to transform the way you communicate\, both verbally and non-verbally\, using two foundational dimensions of communication that dra matically affect EI. \; These dimensions guide our personal actions wh ich\, in turn\, shape an organization’s culture\, and ultimately affect business performance. \; Note that Part 1 is a prerequisite for part icipating in Part 2 (see below). Part 2 – Providing Constructive Feedb ack and Resolving Conflict (2.0 hour duration) (This presentation reinfo rces and expands EI concepts that were introduced in “Foundational Dimen sions of Constructive Communications” – Part 1.) Explore additional facets of constructive communication by first considering the characterist ics of shared team values and their impact on sustainable success. We will also examine “blind spots” and “masks” that can strengthen interp ersonal relationships. We will then learn and apply a six-step Constructiv e Conversation Process to give and receive feedback\, and to also resolve interpersonal conflicts in a constructive manner\, by applying powerful te chniques for empathetic listening.
